The Bellarmine Rubel School of Business has an opening for a Program Coordinator, who will provide marketing and recruitment assistance to the Dean, department chairs and faculty. Typical duties are dually focused on a) conducting marketing and recruiting for School of Business programs and b) providing administrative support for academic programs, especially the MBA. The coordinator will be responsible for developing and maintaining the social media and website presence for the school and individual departments. Administrative duties will include student email lists, memos and reports.
I. Position Status
This is a regular, full-time position with the beginning and ending daily scheduled hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some weekend or evening hours may be required periodically. II. Primary Function
To provide marketing and recruitment assistance to the Dean, Department Chairs and Faculty of the Rubel School of Business.
III. Primary Responsibilities
Performs advanced administrative duties usually under the general supervision of the Dean/Associate Dean. Typical duties will be dual focused a) marketing & recruiting efforts for Rubel School of Business programs and b) providing administrative support for Rubel School programs specifically MBA; ensuring that all business transactions are compliant with established fiscal and procedures of the University; maintaining department records; maintaining social media and website presence for the School and individual departments; exhibiting a high degree of social media, recruiting, administrative skill, competence, and knowledge of organization procedures/policies; assisting in duties of a confidential nature; and operating with considerable independence. Typical duties also include:
A.Work with Dean and Department Chairs to implement and maintain a strong social media and website presence.
B. Recruiting –primarily MBA.
C. Marketing and coordinating events for the Rubel School of Business (ie. Executive speaker series events).
D. Coordinate administrative aspects of the MBA program, preparing book orders, student email lists and other MBA related activities.
E. Type letters, memos, and reports, inter-office forms using Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Web software and applications.
